Tuesday, May 19: Speyer

We drove the train to Speyer and there we had a city tour and saw a Jewish Bath, the largest churh in Germany, went up a tower of the city gate. Then we went to Heidelbery to a a winery to taste wines.


Monday, May 18: off to Heidelberg

Today we rode the train to Heidelberg with a ICE and a subway. Then we had a city tour and saw the town hall, 3 churchs, old university. The tour guide had a funny hat. The city is not big and not to small and nice. We had dinner at the house of a former student from Alma College. She lives next to the old castle of Heidelberg.


Sunday, May 17: Munich

In morning my dad and I went swiming in the hotel pool. It was not warm water. later we meet the students and went to the Allianz Arena to watch 1860 Munich against 1. FC Nurnberg. The stadium was packed, almost sold out. It was awesome and it was very loud. 

Saturday, May 16,2015; Zugspitze and Ettal

Early in the morning with drove the bus to the Zugspitze (the highest mountain in Germany). We drove a cable car up to it in 8min, it is 9,700ft high. After that we drove the bus to Ettal and had a tour about how the monks make beer and liquor. In the evening we had dinner with the stundents and I sat with 4 friends.

Friday, May 15: Munich

Today we had the day to ourselves. Students had to go to museums or other places on their own. I went with mom and dad to the train station, the Bayern Munich fan shop, and the olympic center, where we went up the tower and could see the city of Munich though the view was foggy. Then we saw many new BMW cars at the BMW world. In the afternoon we went to the Deutsches Museum. It’s like a science museum. We saw many airplanes and a great exhibition about mining.


Wednesday, May 13: Coburg

Today we had a tour through an very old castle: the Veste Corburg. Martin Luther stayed here when his friends went to Augsburg. In the afternoon, me and my dad went to a small, fun water park. It was next to the hotel. It was awesome.
